SMOK G-PRIV 220w Touch

The Smok G-Priv is a brand new temperature control box mod that features 220W of maximum output power and a touch screen OLED.

The mod’s size is 85mm x 58.5mm x 28mm, is made from aluminum zinc alloy and is hefty with the two batteries installed.  It is built with a stainless steel 510 threaded connection that will easily accommodate atomizers up to 25mm. The center pin is spring-loaded and gold plated for flush atomizer installs and best conductivity.  There’s no traditional fire button, but s a semi-hidden firing switch on the side of the unit that is pulled to power the atomizer.  Above the switch, you will find a small silver button that locks the screen when held down or turns off/on the screen when simply pressed.

The best aspect of the G-Priv is the 2.4″ OLED touch screen that is highly responsive and crystal clear. On the screen, there’s indicators with current time, date, wattage, temperature, real time battery level indicators for each cell, etc…  There’s also icons for easily changing operating mode, screen saver settings, max puff time, mode and much more.

The device is powered by dual 18650 batteries that are hidden in its battery bay behind a convenient magnetic battery cover that features a carbon fire type material for a premium look and feel.  The micro USB port on the bottom allows for on-board charging or you can use an external charger to top off the cells, which is always recommended.  The USB port is also used for firmware upgrades, but the mod also supports over-the-air updates.  On the bottom, there’s also ventilation ports to keep the batteries and device cool.

The G-Priv is highly capable with 220 watts of output power, a low resistance of 0.06Ω and a temperature control range from 200℉ to 600℉.  Temperature mode is compatible with nickel, titanium, stainless steel and there’s also a custom TCR mode.
