My package has been delivered according to the tracking, but I have not received it yet.

Sometimes, the status of your PostNord delivery may show as ‘delivered to the mailbox’ or something similar, but there is no package there. This is quite common and is due to PostNord not following their procedures correctly, but usually, the packages are eventually found in the right place.

Unfortunately, it can happen that the mail carrier scans the packages at the terminal and when they realize that they cannot leave them in the mailbox or mail slot, they instead hand them over to an agent. Since the packages have already been scanned, they receive the status of ‘delivered’. In reality, the mail carrier should not scan the package before they are at the mailbox or mail slot and know that it will fit there. But unfortunately, this often happens anyway, and we remind PostNord about it regularly.

So our advice is to wait a few days and see if you receive any notification. If you have a smaller agent, you can also visit them and inquire. Please note that our terms specify a ‘grace period’ of 14 days from the date the order was dispatched within Sweden (30 days for international orders).

This is because almost all shipments are found within this time period.

Please note that there is not much we can do about this situation except to bring it to the attention of PostNord that they need to improve. Therefore, it would be good if you as a customer also send them a message about this issue so that they hear it from multiple sources.

What can I do?

  • Check if a delivery attempt notice was left, and please verify this with PostNord, the delivery service.
  • Verify your delivery address to ensure it is correct.
  • Check your mailbox and the area around the delivery location to see where the package may have been delivered.
  • Confirm that someone else did not accept your package (e.g., building manager, neighbor, household member).”
